“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear,” “[a]nd he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” (Mark 7:20-2). Lastly, Philippians 4:8 says, “… whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
Imma be real, I have no idea who Joey Mannarino is, why conservatives want to boycott Chick-Fil-A, nor generally what he talks about on his podcasts so I could be totally misrepresenting him here but lmao what?
Like I totally get having bizarre thoughts, so no judgement towards my bro in Christ here and I guess he should only drink sweet tea/unfrosted lemonade from now on just to be safe. However, what I don’t get is having bizarre thoughts and then posting them online as if it’s some hot take, particularly as he claims to be a Christian.

Also, saying “rape and murder bad” and acting like that statement is anything other than the absolute minimum, bottom-tier, literally 10 Commandments level lowest form of morality for any decent human being (let alone someone who is a Christian and should be held to higher moral standard than everyone else) is unhinged. But conservative men pretending to care about women and morality, yet advocating for not even the bare minimum in terms of either of those things is par for the course.
Per the Bible though, “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks,” so it says a lot about what sort of weird porn Joey is consuming that this is even a glimmer of a thought in his mind.
His twitter account in general is just rambling, unhinged, angry and unChristian nonsense, and as Christians we are called to be “…slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” (James something). Furthermore, Proverbs says, “[f]ools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.” So he’s a fool by Biblical standards to boot.
The Bible says we will be known by our fruits, thus evidence that one is a true Christian isn’t just in words, but in the manifestation of the fruits of the spirit, three of which are self-control, kindness, and peace. The fact Joey Mannarino seems to have zero peace about what’s going on in the world lately, is obviously not kind to those who don’t share his political leanings, and is spouting off ramblings on twitter all the time certainly makes me side-eye his claim that he’s a Christian. It’s possible he’s channeling his inner grift a la Candace Owens and being inflammatory to build a career, but love of money is the root of all evil, and that’s even more shady than just genuinely being weird. Either way, someone with a genuine relationship with God will bear fruit of that and as Christians, we need to be careful to not let others utilize Christianity for their own gain, but for the purpose of furthering the kingdom of God. Christianity isn’t about owning the left, or pushing a political ideology, but about bringing people to Christ knowing that only God can and will change the heart of man.
Anyway, peak Biblical masculinity is being worried about semen in your Chick-Fil-A frosted lemonade, because that’s what any Godly, Christian man would be concerned and thinking about.
