(I meant to post this before the manwha finished but that didn’t happen). Since writing parts 1 and 2, there’s been an influx of bad guys in Weak Hero. So, it’s time for part 3.
I have actual criteria for my ratings that boils down to character development, impact on the plot, and complexity in terms of personality.
*Spoilers ahoy!*
Phillip Kim’s Convenience Store Massacre
- have you heard about it???
- actually just Wolf Keum mad some dudes were in his way
Phillip’s Kim’s Convenience Store Massacre Rating: Ben’s Sledgehammer Fist/10
Dongha

- why is Orochimaru here?
- GHOST
- the crazier half of the Mohka duo but like legit crazy
- sadist
- trash talk level 4000
- looks good with his hair up
- good at fighting just not as good as the bros
- hear me out…
JK.
Dongha absolutely wrecked my boy Eugene for no reason, so he’s forever on my hit list. Luckily he gets what’s coming to him. In fact, Grey put it down on him so hard the trauma of his beating caused him to cut his hair off.
The dude was an absolute menace from the moment of his appearance.
Dongha Rating: 8/10
Seongmak Do

- the chiller half of the Mokha duo
- best friends with Dongha
- gets clapped by Gerard
- the stronger fighter of the two; he has a punch like hitting a stone wall
Seongmak always looks upset, which I guess is valid if your sole job is to prevent your trash talking bffffl from getting beaten up. Other than that, he really was just there to one punch folks after Dongha riled them up.
Seongmak’s Rating: 5.5/10
Lips Hisoka Giju

- blood knight
- bully
- does he have jaundice or what
- loses to Wolf twice but was saved by an interruption from Donald Na
- very red hair
- an adult grown man fighting children and it shows
- smokes all the time
- fairly chill all things considered
- seems to have a thing for Wolf Keum (same tbh)
- chill dude who seems to treat his underlings well
Baffled the author thought he could copy & paste Hisoka from HunterxHunter into this story and think we wouldn’t notice.
Giju Rating: 6/10
Donald w Messy Hair

- still a vampire
- still stronger than anyone else in the series
- RIP
- I’m actually going to write a lengthy analysis of him later
Donald W Messy Hair Rating: Can A Vampire and White Mamba Be Friends/10
Dean Kwon

- ride or die for Jake Ji
- shuttle patch 10
- glasses
- good style – my boi always looks fresh
- rose tattoo
- likes anime just like his boi Jake does
- gets beat up by Gray
- actually strong, which is irrelevant in a story like this where the MC’s almost always win
Dean has a sense of humour and a hair-trigger temper causing him to throw down on sight.
However, his arrogance causes him to rush into fights, which is why he loses to Gray.
Dean Kwon Rating: 8/10
Wesley Song

- BOOK to the face (deserved)
- this mf
- no really this mf
- went to middle school w Gray
- apparently smart but still at the bottom of cram school
Wesley Song sent Gray Yeon on a wild Stephen Chase because he got humiliated.
Ironically, Wesley inadvertently allows Gray to come to peace with what happened with Stephen. He also gives him some quality bromance time with Ben.
Wesley Song Rating: 6.5/10
Changhui Han

- didn’t stand a chance against Donald Na
- homies are so loyal to him Donald cut himself to make the fight look even so they wouldn’t be mad or ditch him
- SUIT
- beat up like 10 dudes including Juwon
- loss to Donald
- possibly orchestrated Donald’s death
- respected by his bros
Changhui seems like a decent leader, given Donald had to pretend the fight was an actual fight to ensure Changhui saved face.
Alas, that did not prevent Changhui from possibly killing Donald anyway. He’s also pretty strong, but you wouldn’t really know that since he fights the one dude who is literally too strong for anyone in this manwha to beat.
Changhui Rating: 8.5/10
Juwon Lee

- Big Ben’s sledgehammer fist of might
- Cheongang
- great style
- uber calm
- nice hair
- SUIT
- PONYTAIL
- rude af – blamed Jake Ji’s almost brother for the fall of Manwol
Jake Ji fought Ben Park and lost. Juwon fought Jake Ji and lost. Somehow, Juwon thought he could beat Ben.
He was also bullied terribly as a child, so it’s possible brain damage from that gave him an elevated opinion of his fighting skills
Juwon Lee Rating: 8/10
Hwangmo Mo

- ascended mook; goes from being like no. 3 to being Wolf’s right hand man
- red hair clan
- actually a chill dude as he hangs with Jimmy’s
BaeFriend Jack Kang who is mortal enemies with Wolf (because of Jimmy ofc) - took on Dean Kwon even though he knew he didn’t stand a chance
Hwangmo seems like a decent dude and a good friend-ish. He’s willing to stick with Wolf who was slowly BSODing as the story progressed.
Hwangmo Rating: 6/10
Kenny Ji

- Jake Ji’s brother
- he didn’t want Jake involved with Manwol
- a bully
- presumably a good fighter
- him getting beaten up may or may not have caused the downfall of Manwol High
- ANKLE
Kenny use to be a really good soccer player, even hoping to be like Messi or whoever. Alas, a brutal beat down ended those dreams and his ability to walk properly. Kenny’s beat down also caused Jake to get involved with Donald Na/the Union in order to get revenge on Manwol.
Kenny Ji Rating: 7/10
Truck-Kun

- came outta nowhere (necessary because only a suprise attack would take out Donald)
- Jang II Transportation
- Kingsley is planning on arresting and/or suing him for offing Donald
- deus ex machina
Truck-Kun did what no one else could do, which is defeat Donald Na. Hard to tell if Changui orchestrated this, Donald was over it and decided to let it hit him, or if Truck-Kun was the hand of God.
Nevertheless because of Truck-Kun we will never know whether or not Donald and Gray could’ve been friends.
Truck-Kun Rating: 10/10
There are surely some other minor, side villains I’m missing, but I’d rather work on my analysis of Donald instead.
